CIS 4930-10 - Image Processing - Spring 2004
The purpose of this course is to give a practical
introduction to a range of fundamental image processing algorithms. Students
will work on UNIX and/or PCs and program in C. Prerequisite for this class is
EEL4851 Data Structures, senior
standing, good math background and significant experience with C programming.
It is a heavy programming course with significant portion of the grade derived
from programming assignments. First programming assignment will be given first
week of classes and due second week of classes. Grading will be based
on
programming
assignments, two exams, and scientific paper presentation.
Penalty for ANY unethical activity is a
FF. The definition of unethical activities include,
but not limited to, copying or sharing information on tasks meant to be completed
individually. Unless specified otherwise, all tasks in this course are to be
complete individually.
